Schedule of Events

Saturday October 6, 2018

9:00  A.M. Living History Area open to public
Military camps will open to the public.  Visitors can experience the camp life of the typical Civil War soldier.  Visitors will be able to observe ration issues, mail call, pay call and drill.  Demonstrations will occur throughout the day. 

9:00 A.M. Perryville Battlefield Museum Opens until 5:00 P.M.

9:00 A.M. Vendors open daily until 5:00 P.M.

10:00 A.M.  School of the Soldier Opens (Sign up at Information Area)
This is an interactive program.  You can sign up to be a soldier.  It is a 4- hour program and requires walking and standing for long periods.  Open to adults and children over 12 accompanied at all times by a parent.  Detailed description of this program.

10:30 A.M.  Meet Josiah Ayres (U.S. Monument)

11:00 A.M.  Cannon Demonstrations (Maney’s Fence)

11:30 A.M. Meet Marcus Toney of the 1st TN (C.S. Cemetery)

11:30 A.M.  Nature on Exhibit\Habitat Walk (Information Area)

Noon  Memorial Service Sons of Confederate Veterans (C.S. Cemetery)

Noon  A Nation Once More – Gary Vidito Musical Program (Big Shelter)

1:00 P.M.  Kentucky Chautauqua Performance - How I Got My Name (Big    Shelter)

2:00 P.M. Military Demonstration (Maney’s Field)   This is not a battle.

3:00 P.M. A Nation Once More (Big Shelter)

7:00 P.M. Ghost of the Battle - A Living Tableau Tour ($) (Tickets on Sale in Museum) This is not a paranormal event.
