Preservation March – Civilian Application
Due to the particular nature of this part of the 150th event civilian participants who wish to participate in the preservation march/tactical are encouraged to do so given that they complete the following information and adhere to the established guidelines listed below.
Guidelines: Impressions must be based on actual individuals listed on the “Owners of the Battlefield”, which may be found on the website.
There will be no activities that will be considered derogatory to your fellow reenactors. Although we encourage period interaction under no circumstances are you to engage in any sort of physical contact or derogatory or insulting language with your fellow reenactors. Given that you will be on private property for parts of this program we must insist that no trace is left behind. Basically if you pack it in you pack it out. All participants will be required to be in the appropriate staging areas between the hours of 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. on Thursday October 4, 2012. This is a physical activity – the terrain in the Chaplin Hills is rugged and no modern facilities will be available while participating on the march. Please keep in mind that you need to be physically able to handle the rigors of this activity.

Please provide a small narrative of the impression you intend for Perryville in 2012. Impressions will be on a first come – first served basis. For example – there can only be one Squire Bottoms.
