Registering for Perryville 2012 can be done in two ways - either complete online registration form and pay on line or download the Registration Form and mail it in. You may also contact the park to request participation information and a registration package at 859-332-8631 or email joan.house@ky.gov For registration questions please email: registration2012@att.net
Completing and submitting the registration form indicates that you read and understand the participation guidelines and understand you are required to adhere to these guidelines with no exceptions.
1)Registration Instructions:
Fully complete the registration form. If registering on-line participant names and email addresses should be clearly indicated. Indicate the unit name and unit contact person. Contact persons will receive an email containing a confirmation number. It will be the contact person’s responsibility to disseminate registration numbers to those listed on the registration sheets.
Mailed in registrations will receive a mailed confirmation containing registration numbers, which will be sent to the address listed on form – disseminating registration numbers will be the contact persons responsibility.
In the boxes, please check “Union” or “Confederate”, all branches that apply, and where your members will be camping. Please indicate if you are intending to participate in the Military Camp (which requires you to camp and adhere to the rules in the Military Only Camp), Living History Village (which requires you to camp and adhere to the rules of that camping area) or Mixed Camp (which is the Camp of Convenience provided for military with civilian dependents. You must receive permission of military commanders to have any civilians quartered in the military camp). Your registration will not be accepted unless this information is included.
If applicable please note the number and type of cannon you may be bringing. Also indicate any horses on site so that we will be able to have enough hay on hand.
If you intend to go on the Preservation March and you are a military participant please check the box indicated on the registration form and also notify the appropriate military commander on the registration sheet and complete the civilian application for participation. This information may be found on the website or you may contact the park and request it to be included in your mailed registration package. Contact joan.house@ky.gov
2) Registration Fees. The registration fee will be $12.00 if paid on or before December 31, 2011. $20.00 from January 1, 2012 to September 15, 2012 (*see child fees below). Due to the particular nature of the program walk-ons will not be allowed. You may submit payment electronically through PayPal or you may mail payment with registration forms. Please do not send cash. Make your check or money order payable to: Friends of Perryville Battlefield. All registration fees go to this organization exclusively for battlefield preservation efforts. Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site has grown from 98 acres to nearly 800 acres in the last few years.
*Children Under 12 no fee, but parent must sign waiver form.
Ages 12 – 15 through December 31, 2011 is $6.00. From January 1, 2012 – September 15, 2012 is $20.00
Age 16 and above will pay applicable regular participant fee.
3) Waivers. The waiver form is downloadable. Most of you know that filling out and signing waivers is the most time-consuming aspect of the on – site check in process. If possible please have all the waivers pre-signed and ready to present at the on-site processing. Waivers will also be available at the event check in. You may mail in waivers if you are completing the mail in registration process.

5) Deadlines: Registration must be postmarked by or on December 31, 2011 to receive the reduced rates. Registrations must be post marked by September 15, 2012 to be accepted. No registrations post marked after September 15, 2012 will be accepted – no exceptions.
NO WALK ONs are permitted.
Once completed registrations are received, they will be entered into the event database. Upon completion of the registration process contact persons will be issued registration confirmation number either via email or written. Contact persons will be responsible for distributing these confirmations numbers. Registered participants need to present their registration number at on-site check in to receive event information and additional passes.
Substitutions are allowed as long as they sign the waiver on site.
