Spirit Hunters of Central Kentucky present, “Ghost Hunting 101” for everyone interested in ghosts, spirits and paranormal activity. Over many years of paranormal research and ghost investigations, SHOCK has captured hundreds of weird anomalies in explicit photos, including shocking images in videos and unnerving voices and audios from haunted locations.
Ticket holders will be able to investigate the haunted grounds of Perryville Battlefield. Accompanied by certified ghost hunters, visitors will try to collect their own evidence of the spirits that call the Perryville Battlefield their home.

9:00 a.m. - Camps & Sutlers Opens to the Public
Military camps will open to the public. Visitors can experience the camp life of the typical Civil War soldier. Visitors will be able to observe ration issues, mail call, pay call and drill. Demonstrations will occur throughout the day.
Living History Village
All weekend, guests can enjoy period games, cooking, period craftsmen and sample sweets from the Civil War era. On Sunday, attend a period church service and Temperance Rally. Enjoy music of the time by The Traveling Caudells.

The Battle of Perryville only lasted a few hours, but the aftermath remained. The exhibit illustrates the hardships visited on the citizens of Perryville as well as those who fought the battle and tended the wounded.

10:00 a.m. - Loomis’ Battery Exhibit Opens. Location: Civil War Hall
Loomis’ Battery was Gen. George McClellan’s favorite in July 1861 and he re-armed it with new 10-pdr. parrot rifles. It became the best known battery in the Kentucky-Tennessee theater of the war.
The exhibit features the history and artifacts from the original Loomis Battery. In 1960, a dedicated group of living historians and volunteers formed the non-profit organization to commemorate the battery’s glorious history.
